Page 1 of 1 The Lower Streatham Neighbourhood Watch and Residents Association. Street Co-ordinators – Duties and Responsibilities. 1. So that the Street Co-ordinators can carry out their duties efficiently and understand in what ways they are responsible to the committee of the LSNWRA, hereinafter referred to as “the Association”, they shall be issued with a copy of the Association’s “Constitution” and the “The Method for Collection of Subscriptions and Donations”. Street Co-ordinators should also be issued with any other documents deemed to be of value to them. 2. As an interface between the Committee and the Households for which they are responsible for, they will exchange information in both directions. 3. The information in 2. Above mentioned refers to whatever the committee requires that the householders should know about in respect of security, both in the home and in public, redevelopment programs those households who relating to roads, motorised vehicle speed limits, of shops or houses and other items thought appropriate. Mostly this information will be passed out by the Committee, but as the Lambeth Council are just as likely to post the plans on lamp posts, it is essential that the Street Co-ordinators inform The General Co-ordinator or Secretary of such notices. 4. Some information considered of interest will be included in the Associations Magazine. Each Street Co-ordinator will be given sufficient copies of the magazine to distribute to their households. 5. From time to time the Committee will consider it necessary to request each householder to complete a survey or questionnaire, or for that matter to sign a petition. Street Co-ordinators, on receipt of these ‘forms’ will, as quickly as possible, distribute and collect back the responses and hand back to the General Co-ordinator or Secretary. 6. Each Street Co-ordinator will request from the Treasurer enough advice/receipt books to enable them to collect the £1.00 per annum from indicated their wish to be a member of the Association. The signed advice/receipt book and the money collected shall be handed to the Treasurer, as soon as possible after the collection is made. 7. Some householders will not wish to become members, but make a donation to the Association instead. These should be duly receipted and the money handed back as in 6. Above mentioned.
